FERRY SCHEDULE HORSESHOE BAY TO SUNSHINE COAST

You get to enjoy a spectacular ride on the BC Ferries to get here!   The ferry Terminal on the Sunshine Coast is in Langdale.  Sunshine Coast Ferry is a 35 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver.  Horseshoe Bay is approximately a 20 minute drive from the Lions Gate Bridge in Vancouver.  Best to check out the schedule and current conditions before you go, and you have to be in Horseshoe Bay 10 minutes before sailing time to load.  BC Ferries charge one way for the round trip; you pay in Horseshoe Bay but not in Langdale.

Fares

Coast Travel Times:

Gibsons is 4 kms from Langdale, take a left leaving the terminal to travel the scenic route along the water to the historic Lower Gibsons and the Restaurants and Pier, Marinas, and shops.  Head straight up the hill from the Ferry Terminal to go directly  to the business section: banks, malls, groceries etc. or to carry on up the Coast.

Robert’s Creek is 10 minutes from Gibsons, between Gibsons and Sechelt.

Sechelt is 30 minutes from Langdale, about 22 kms from Gibsons.  From there you can go east to Sandy Hook and Tuwanek, or west to carry on to Halfmoon Bay, 15 minutes beyond, or up to Pender and Earl’s Cove.

Pender Harbour area is an hour from Langdale, or half an hour from Sechelt.

Earls Cove  and the ferry to Powell River is an hour and a half up the Coast, taking it easy as you drive.
